Short version: legal requirement: "Anthem to be broadcast at opening
and closing of broadcast. Number of verses of the anthem to be broadcast
subject to ruling of the Secretary of Government."

"Con relacón a su consulta del día 6 de marzo respecto de que si en
México es o no obligatorio la transmisión para las estaciones de radio
del himno nacional, le hago de su conocimiento que la Ley Sobre el
Escudo, la Bandera y el Himno Nacionales en su Capítulo V, Artículo 42
señala lo siguiente:
 

LEY SOBRE EL ESCUCDO, LA BANDERA Y EL HIMNO NACIONALES

CAPITULO V

ARTÍCULO 41 DEL TIEMPO QUE POR LEY LE CORRESPONDE AL ESTADO EN LAS
FRECUENCIAS DE LA RADIO Y EN LOS CANALES DE TELEVISION, EN LOS TERMINOS
LEGALES DE LA MATERIA, SE INCLUIRA EN SU PROGRAMACION DIARIA AL INICIO
Y
CIERRE DE LAS TRANSMISIONES LA EJECUCION DEL HIMNO NACIONAL Y EN EL
CASO
DE LA TELEVISION, SIMULTANEAMENTE LA IMAGEN DE LA BANDERA NACIONAL. EL
NUMERO DE ESTROFAS QUE DEBERAN SER ENTONADAS SERA DEFINIDO POR LA
SECRETARIA DE GOBERNACION.
